Throughout the calendar year of 2006-2007, Panera Bread has contributed generously to local non-profit organizations. Each of our markets has adopted a local non-profit organization that receives proceeds from our Operation Doughnation program. Each month the proceeds from these boxes are deposited into our Operation Doughnation fund and at the end of each year these funds are generously matched by the Covelli Family and presented to our partner. Our partner for this program is New Hope for Kids in Central Florida. These funds go toward crucial items such as medical and dental care for children with no insurance, a safe haven for a traumatized child, and clothing and necessities for a child just removed from an abusive home.
